When scheduling a patient for a specific provider, the appointment type dropdown currently shows all appointment types, even those not available for that provider. Example Issue: If scheduling on Brandon’s calendar, all appointment types appear in the list. If I select “Acute Visit” (which is only assigned to Christin), the system changes the provider to Christin automatically. This creates confusion and makes it possible to start scheduling in the wrong calendar. Proposed Solution: When a provider’s calendar is selected, filter the appointment type list to show only those available for that provider. Prevent the system from auto-switching providers without a clear prompt/confirmation. Why This Matters: Reduces scheduling errors and confusion. Speeds up booking by removing irrelevant options. Improves workflow accuracy and user experience.
