We’ve added a “Recent Patients” list to the patient search modal in Clinical. It shows the last 5 patient charts the user viewed, in order of most recently visited. This makes it easier to jump back into the right chart after interruptions, reducing cognitive load and cutting down on extra searching.

I wish there was a way to view the most recent patient charts you’ve accessed, without needing to go back to the calendar or search by guessing the patient name.
Ideally, it would be really helpful if clicking into the search bar showed a list of the most recent patients whose charts you were last in, for quick and easy access. This would be especially useful in situations where the patient isn’t on the calendar—such as when prescriptions are sent, labs are reviewed, or other follow-up tasks are completed.

When searching for patient, it would be great to have drop down of maybe the last 5 pateints that were accessed. Sometimes you have to jump out but want to go back into a chart right away.

Ashley Lawrence, can I give this two votes? :) Could this be one of the small quarterly 15 feature requests for Hint Clinical? I think it is a feature that will be used a lot (based on experience in prior EMRs)
